ABOUT ME

 

Just Toriya (formally known as Toriya (Tori) Buford) is a Memphis, TN native. She received her B.S. in Theater from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. She acknowledges her passion for theatre coming from wanting to work to convey a message that will  impact the audience intellectually and emotionally. Her work is meant to push the boundaries of race, gender, and sexuality and she gives a piece of herself and experiences to each production she has the opportunity to be a part of.
